Storefront portraits are a great form of promotional material that's shareable and eye-catching on social media, as well as a lovely way to celebrate milestone. If you'd like to commission a storefront illustration, there are a few options to choose from. I use ink and watercolour on 140lb paper. I generally do two sizes:
5x7" - $90
8x10" - $140
If your business has multiple locations and you would like several locations illustrated, there are bulk discounts available.
All I need is a clear photo of the storefront, or an address that has a good view on Google Maps (either work, both resources are even better). An illustration generally takes 2-3 weeks to complete, depending on demand.
I ask for a 50% deposit* before I get started on the illustration -- once the deposit is secured, then I send you a pencil sketch so that you can check over the illustration and let me know if there's anything you want to adjust or add to the image.** That way, you're completely satisfied with the finished product. Once I get approval from you, I finish up inking and painting the piece.
My pick-up location is at Dundas West subway station (in downtown Toronto) -- if you aren't able to pick up from that location, I can mail it to you free of charge via regular mail ($13 if it is an international order or an express shipment with a tracking number).
Feel free to email me at email@example.com any time with any questions or commission requests, or fill out the form below:
* Please note that deposits are non-refundable. Furthermore, I am not able to offer refunds or exchanges, as I am a small business of one and can't be responsible for how mail is handled and for different postal systems.
** I do 1-2 rounds of edits, but beyond that may charge an extra fee for additional rounds of edits.
